Leadership
The AWF Executive Committee consists of the President, Treasurer and the five Regional Coordinators. The Quadrennial Convocation elects the President and the Treasurer. The Regional Cordinators are elected by the membeers in their Region.

Rev. Arie M. Verduijn (Netherlands), President
Arie Verduijn lives in his home country, the Netherlands, where he was born in 1953. He was elected as President of the Alliance World Fellowship in 2004. His deep desire is to see Churches of the Christian & Missionary Alliance from every nation collaborate in reaching those who have not yet heard the Gospel. Verduijn has been ministering in many countries and is involved in missions’ projects on different continents.
From 1992 till 2004 he was director of CAMA-Zending, a Dutch sending agency related to the Christian and Missionary Alliance. During this period he served on the board of the Dutch Evangelical Missionary Alliance and taught at the Evangelische Theologische Hogeschool. He still teaches at theological institutes in the Netherland. From 1981 till 1991 he lived with his family in Africa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where he taught at two Theological Schools (1981-1991). He was ordained as Alliance pastor in 1985. In the seventies Arie studied in Belgium, Germany and France. Arie Verduijn is married to Jansje; they have five children, three of them are married.

Rev. Wilson Kaan (Canada), Treasurer
Church: Saskatoon Chinese Alliance Church. Present ministry: Senior pastor. Family: Shirley Kaan (spouse), Michael Kaan (son). Wilson was born and raised in an Alliance missionary family in Vietnam. He received Jesus as his Lord and Saviour early in life. While living in Vietnam, he often accompanied his Dad, Rev. Jonathan Kaan, during missionary endeavours and engaged in a variety of ministries. After his college studies in the United States, Wilson followed the footsteps of his father and grandmother and entered missionary work in Southeast Asia. He served among the Indo-Chinese refugees. In 1984, he married Shirley. They have served in Hong Kong among the refugees (1980 – 85), in Regina (CBC/CTS 1985-95) and in Saskatoon (1995 – now).
Career: Assistant Pastor, Windsor Alliance Church (1978-1980), Director of World Relief in Hong Kong (1980–1985),Assistant to the President and other duties CBC/CTS (1985–1995), Senior pastor, Saskatoon Chinese Alliance Church (1995- now), Chairman, Canadian Chinese Alliance Churches Association (2000–2006), Chairman, Joint Missions Conference 2009 (2006-2009), Treasurer, Alliance World Fellowship (2004–now). Ministry Involvement: Wilson has been the pastor of the Chinese Alliance Church in Saskatoon for 15 years. In 2000, he began giving leadership to the CCACA and served the Chinese churches in Canada as chairman. When his term ended in 2006, he continued to chair the Joint Missions Conference 2009 (CCACA Missions). He enjoys his speaking engagements in various missions conferences. He is currently serving the Canadian Chinese School of Theology at Tyndale Seminary as a board member and is also serving his second term as the Treasurer of the Alliance World Fellowship.
Spiritual Gifts/Strengths/Applicable Skills: Wilson is able to process and give insight into intercultural matters. He is able to converse and preach in a number of languages. He is an experienced board member and often provides ministry consultation services to national leaders. Languages spoken: English, Mandarin, Cantonese & Vietnamese. Countries served: the Philippines, Hong Kong, China, US and Canada. World Missions is his passion and he has consistently filled his annual itinerary with a missions-related agenda.

Dr. Isaac Keïta (Guinea), Regional Coordinator Africa
Isaac Keita is president of FATEAC, the West-African Theologocal Academy of the Alliance in Abidjan, since 1996. Born into a pastor’s family in Télékoro, Guinea, Rev. Keita followed his secondary studies with biblical studies in Switzerland (Institut Biblique d’Emmaüs), Canada (Canadian Theological Seminary) and the United States (Trinity International University). From the later institution he received his doctorate in 2011. He has been pastor, teacher at the Bible Institute of Télékoro, and President of the CMA church of Guinea.
Rev. Keita is married to Rachel, the director of the Women’s Academy at FATEAC, with whom he has 5 children (and 1 grandchild). He desires to develop and track the academic, doctrinal, spiritual, and physical integrity of the institution. He must also be the point-person for many of the relations FATEAC has with other religious, administrative, and Political institutions.
Rev. Roland Lumawag (Philippines), Regional Coordinator Asia & Pacific
Roland and his wife Nancy, together with their 2 children started theirmissionary service in Thailand on February 11, 1997. They currently live in Khon Kaen, in northeastern Thailand, while their sons (now 17 & 20) are studying and living in the Philippines and actively involved in their local Alliance Church.
The Lumawags have been financially supported by the Alliance in New Zealand throughout their time on the field. They have three major ministry areas: Missions Mobilization, Northeastern Bible Seminary, and Asia Pacific Alliance Churches Region.

Rev. Eladio Medina (Chile), Regional Coordinator Latin America

Dr. Peter Nanfelt (United States), Coordinator North America
After graduating from Nyack College in Nyack, New York, Peter and his wife, Jerry, took a pastorate in the state of North Carolina and served there for several years. In 1961 they were appointed as Alliance international workers in Indonesia where they were involved in a variety of ministries over the next eighteen years. In 1979 Peter and Jerry returned to the United States and Peter began his ministry at the C&MA/US National Office, located in Nyack, NY, and then in Colorado Springs, CO. Over the next twenty-six years Peter served as the C&MA/US regional director for East Asia and the Pacific Islands, then as the vice president for Overseas Ministries, and eventually as president of the Alliance in the United States. Currently, he and Jerry reside in Fort Myers, Florida where they are active in their local church and their community. The Nanfelts have three married children and three granddaughters, all of whom entered college in the fall of 2011.
