Emotional Celebration in Vietnam

The 100 years Celebration of the Vietnamese Alliance Churches was a blessing to all who atttended. An Asian observer reports: One of the most encouraging and emotional parts of the event was the historical report from the president and a message from a former Vietnamese missionary. 
-The Vietnamese National Alliance Church expressed deep gratitude by honoring the Vietnamese Christian martyrs as well as the workers from North-America and Europe who invested their lives in the proclamation of the Gospel. Twenty former missionaries were present at the celebration and more than fourteen thousand Vietnamese believers participated; the stadium was packed with people. What a picture of God's amazing work and grace upon the Vietnamese churches. Interestingly, some fifteen tribal groups attended the celebration as well. A parade during the opening gave them special recognition.
