Funerals and New Life in Christ
August 26, 2011
“We are experiencing a wonderful move of the Holy Spirit amongst the Hmong” reports pastor Roger Lang from Brisbane, Australia. The Hmong form an ethnic group originating from the mountainous regions of Vietnam and China. Many came as refugees from Vietnam to live in Australia where God uses funerals to touch them with His plan of hope.

Pastor Lang, who leads the International Alliance Church says: “During the last months I have conducted four Hmong funerals. Most funerals last three days. At the last one I preached three times. 500 people came from all over Australia. Many have come to Christ during these funerals as we have preached about heaven, eternal life etc. There at approximately fifty people ready for baptism in October! Twenty six came to the Lord during April, May and June alone. I commence a study of Christ's life with ten new believers on 31 August in our home. Two of the new converts are already leading the Hmong congregation. It's very exciting and exhausting.” Please pray for this ministry.
