The AWF binds together millions of Christians from 50 nations organized in World Regions. The Regions elect their Regional Cordinator and a Coordinating Committee during the AWF Quadrennial Convotation. The last Convocation took place in 2008 in Santiago, Chile. The next one is scheduled in May 15-19, 2012 in Toronto, Canada. The Regional Coordinators form the AWF Executive Committee, together with the President and the Treasurer, who are elected during the Quadrennial Convocation by all members present.

The focus of our Alliance is Jesus Christ and each individual’s obedience to His Lordship.
Arising from that relationship comes a desireto reflect the very nature of our missionary God
and to be obedient to the Great Commission by taking the Gospel to all people groups.

The mission of the Alliance World Fellowship is to facilitate cooperation amongst its members (churches and organizations) as they work for the fulfillment of the Great Commission. The AWF has its roots in the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA). It started as a movement in the 1880’s and developed into a mission-minded denomination with partners in more than 80 countries under a variety of names.
